Jorge Munay is a very special person and unlike anyone I have ever met. He has a rare energy, and he’s one of those people who feels healing just to be around. He is in love with sound and truly a master of his craft. I feel very fortunate that life brought us together a few years ago, and since then he’s visited the studio twice to hold special events. This will be his third time joining us, and we’re both really excited to offer a retreat for the community so we can dive deep into our practice and create a truly transformational experience together.

Jorge’s journey with music began in early childhood with the piano and flute. In 2000, he rekindled a deeper connection with tribal sound and entered the world of ancestral Peruvian instruments, sacred ceremonies, and plant spirit traditions. His path has been shaped by the guidance of great masters, whose profound wisdom in shamanic music and Andean medicine continues to inspire his offerings.

Now based in the Sacred Valley of the Incas (Cusco, Peru), Jorge facilitates transformative retreats both locally and abroad. His immersive journeys draw from vocal activation, ceremonial sound, plant medicine, pilgrimages to sacred sites, and the living cosmology of the Andes. Each experience is a gateway into expanded awareness, remembrance, and reconnection with nature, with self, with spirit.

Through his ceremonies, Jorge transmutes sound into medicine and song into vibrational prayer, weaving landscapes of ancestral memory that invite a profound sense of wholeness and integration. His work is a living prayer—an offering for personal and collective harmony, ecological regeneration, and the reweaving of sacred relationship between humanity and Mother Earth.
